Of course they do. Just look at Yoda in the new SW movies. He looks like shit compared to his puppet incarnation. Well, then again, everything sucked about the SW prequels.

Yeah the CGI in those movie looked dull and lifeless. They already look much more dated then the original SW movies. The CGI in the new Indiana Jones movie is not much better.

I'm in the same stance I've been for the past six or so years: I'll get excited when an official teaser trailer appears on Apple Trailers.

Until that happens, it's just another rumor.

So this is why these GB3 updates are never mentioned on the news page?

I loved how the ghosts appeared in the Scooby Doo movie. They were a bit glossy. I think it would fit nicely in GB III.

I disagree. I think the “glossy” look makes them look incredibly fake and cartoony, as opposed to the subtle believability that the puppets had in the Ghostbusters movies.

I think that in order for GHOSTBUSTERS III to hit gold it MUST capture the feel of the original film. One of the things the makers must do in order for this to happen is drop todays technology and go back to the special effect making methods of yesteryear.

The star wars prequels, die hard 4.0 and kingdom of the crystal skull are proof positive that although the cgi may be more advanced it just destroys both the look and feel which were in the films which preceded them.

Doing Ghostbusters III the old fashioned way would be great because firstly it will make the new film fit in more with the films which preceded it, people will have more of an appreciation for the sfx, it will make the film feel more nostalgic and also it will make the film a little different from all the other sfx movies which come out these days.

Nope, it's not on the news page because I don't think I can post news stories.

And even so, it's still just a rumor. It's still not actually happening yet.

I hope the new team is over the ages of 25. I don't want some punk ass teenagers.

Same here, they must be around the age of the original Ghostbusters from the first film or older.

Technically speaking, they should not take younger ones as you “have” to be around 27 years old when you manage to get a doctorate in psychology… People in their early thirteen would be perfect.
