Technically speaking, they should not take younger ones as you “have” to be around 27 years old when you manage to get a doctorate in psychology… People in their early thirteen would be perfect.

No Doogie Howsers then, lol.

Although Neil Patrick Harris may apply now. (Suit-Up)

Ah, the newest Ghostbuster recruit makes his first official post.:-O

One of my reasons for tracking down this message board and starting to post here is because, 1) I'm damn excited for the new video game and 2) I'm damn excited at the possibility of there being a new film.

Granted, there has been talk for many years on and off about GIII being made, which everyone already knows. But it seems to me that a lot more news has come up recently, and if the rumor mill is true, that reuniting for the game got the old gang all excited to reunite once more for another movie, then I say, “it's about damn time!”

I have a much better feeling about the recent rumors for whatever reason. Maybe the Gozer world is forcing its way into ours or I'm just being influenced by Vego the Carpathian. But whatever the reason, I'm remaining highly optimistic about there finally being a GIII.

I'm sure this has been posted before, but here is an interview with Bill Murray, where he comments about a possible third film at the end of the clip, clearly acknowledging that the writer's of “The Office” are working on a script, which simply means, he's in the loop. And thank goodness, because a lot of the rumors listed him as ‘out’ should there be a GIII. But what would a Ghostbusters film be without Bill Murray?(*peter) While it's no news that a script has been in the works, I'm just glad to see Bill sounding semi interested in the idea of coming back for another one.

EDIT: I moved the youtube link to the appropriate thread.

It's interesting to think that John Belushi was originally going to be cast as our beloved Dr. Venkman, but do to his untimely death, we ended up with Bill, which worked out just fine!
With whatever happens, I cannot wait for the video game and do believe it will be a highly entertaining and fun addition to the Ghostbusters mythos.

I'll be happy with GB3 as long as its not fully CGI and doesn't have lame actors. Also if they mention something about Oscar I'll probably throw something heavy at my TV.

God I hope Oscar is a trainee

Not that it'd be awesome, I find it funny that someone would break their tv over it lol

Maybe because Oscar was such a drag in Ghostbusters 2

According to Dan Aykroyd, the new leader will be female.

the early proposals of this movie seems interesting i know he might not be involved since the direction of this third movie seems to be going in a different direction but i always wanted to see Adam Sandler take up the role of a Ghostbuster thought he might fit in nicely.

It probably will be cgi which I don't mind I like it, they're not going to make a new ghostbusters and be like “forget the technology of today which will draw all these people in, lets stick to puppets and get all these people on this message board to show up”. I don't want to offend anyone but as seen from Wolverine and X-men and all those other movies, they're not made for fans, they're made for everyone to go see and that means cgi and popular actors.
