I don't think it was advertised or anything. I only managed to catch it because I couldn't sleep and I was flicking through the (very limited choice of) channels. It was on quite late, but it was well worth it.

SNL is always done live, without stopping, yet sometimes reruns are shown.

Last I heard SNL is filmed and they run it as tho it were live(as in, no retakes after the rehearsals)…
As for Harold Ramis, he was a writer for the original version of the show(which was based in Chicago, tho I can't remember the name)… all the original SNL people came from the chicago show… and Ramis continued to write up until he started to get some fame goin for him and he started acting.

Ok i'm a Aussie and we get SNL on Arena on pay tv and i just wanna know was it a recent one form 2001 or one from 1998 or one from the 70's
