Hey hey,

Been awhile since I posted on here since hell3ent.com anyway here is a little info.

Dan stop by my hometown to promote his WINE at the local NSLC and said a bit about the new game and about a 3rd Movie and the house a blues.

“When you want to develop a video game based on the slimy antics of the spirit world, who you gonna call? The original cast, which also featured Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson.

Aykroyd said players will join the Ghostbusters for a mission in Manhattan.

”In effect, really, it’s the third movie. I’m a fan of the franchise. As an objective viewer I miss the third movie. So this video game will maybe pave the way or at least stimulate interest from the studio again in maybe making the third movie.“

Aykroyd, a noted music buff, is also busy expanding the House of Blues franchise of clubs around the world. While he’s in the region he’s doing some homework about putting one in the Maritimes.

”That’s my surreptitious reason for coming here,“ said Aykroyd.

”I need a population base and a tourist base that can sustain us through the week. We’ve got to be open five days a week. I’ve been looking at all the cities in the Maritimes and we’ll pick a town and hopefully pull it off."

Really cool to know that Dan hopes for this game will SPARK intrest to film another movie.

I sure hope it does spark interest.. Nothing like a game, the prospect of a 3rd movie and even more games on the horizon. Guess all we can do is hope right now.

Lol, the movie industry is soo out of ideas that they make a movie out of all blockbuster games they see. When they'll see the interest that the people have in the new GB game, they'll wonder why they didn't made a third movie before that.

I'd rather have the game as it is than the movie, but that's just me. Especially since it looks like if there ever is a new GB movie that it will be CGI.
