Does anybody now any details about deleted scenes from either of the movies, and is it true that some of Murrays' lines in GB1 were improvised by him??

Murray, along with the rest of the cast, did lots of improv on the set of Ghostbusters. Furthermore, most of the funniest scenes in the film were ad-libbed.

ad-libbed means that those lines the actors did werent in the script. It basically means they made it up as they went along.

If you listen to the commentary on the GB disc though, it's revealed that contrary to popular belief, most of Murray's lines were scripted for him. Some of the lines, like the take where he says “Let's run some red lights” is purely ad-libbed stuff.

Murray doesen't refer to Pecker as dickless, but he says:
“Wally Wick”
“Yes, it's true. This man is some kind of rodent, but I don't know which.”

Check on the website:

http://www.imdb.com

to find information on alternate or deleted scenes in Ghostbusters, or to check on the other work that the actor have done.

I prefer the “dickless” gag, myself.

“Dickless” and “Wally Wick” would go together.
