I ask because I was confused before and I still am now when I went back to replay a few spots on the game. When Im looking at the Manhatten map under crime fighting, I see about 4 areas of the map that are green. I know there are 3 gangs controlling parts of the city. Ive wiped out 1 group and I have 2 more left. But, do I have to hunt for the gang in those green areas of the map or in non colored areas? Ive been looking around online and NO ONE has ever addressed this question as far as I can tell. I checked the manual, no help there (even being only 4 pages long) and vids on youtube or Gamefaqs aren't much help either. Can any of you guys tell me?

Yes I have, and unfortunately I came across the same problem… so I can't help you I'm afraid.

It ended up just being endless searching and looking for the next mission or whatever to just advance the story and get it over and done with. Then I realised, am I actually enjoying the game, or do I want to just be “done with it”. I decided, just to be done with it.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm a huuuuuge Spidey fan, I have played and finished nearly all his games… but this one, I just had to give up on. I loved Spider-Man 2, but just couldn't do it.

I've only played Spider-Man 3 very briefly, so I couldn't help you with that. GameFAQs might be a safer bet. As for Spider-Man 2 though, man, what a blast I had playing that game. I never really did anything but the side missions, and just had fun swinging around NYC, but that game kept me entertained for hours straight. I loved fighting groups of thugs and just button mashing to see what crazy combos I could pull off against them.
