Evry Sunday with my brother and grandfather. I tried learning how to play the theme song on a kazoo once, and it came out kinda nice.

I used to like it but now its one of those shows that doesnt seemed to have aged as well as others. Its alright but theres alot of other cartoons from my childhood I like better.

I watched the cartoon ocassionally and I actually thought Broderick was great in the first movie. It's the second movie I won't see because that looks dumb. I mean the last time I saw the cast list I don't think they had anyone from the first movie reprising their roles in this second one.

The original cartoon ruled. I loved the intro, and it had THE best themesong. It's really a shame that the movie sucked so bad tho. I liked the car from the cartoon…it turned from a van into a race car into a sports car, a regular car, a submarine and fighter jet.

(edited by the bondo bandit thats strike three nonameman , now the rest of the mods are going to be keeping an eye on you too . you've got to watch your mouth around here . i don't enjoy yelling at people and so far you're the only one i've had to yell at …..over and over and over , why is that ? third warning pal , watch your language .

I used to watch gadget all the time as a kid, I still have some episodes on beta. The second movie really wasn't bad at all, French Stewart was a way better gadget and it fallows the cartoon more closely then the first movie, such as they never show claws full face in the second movie. The cartoon move wasn't bad either although gadget is no longer voiced by the great Don Adams, but by Maurice LeMarche, who actually does a pretty good Don Adams impression.

I loved the old show. But there's one thing that's been naggin me after all these years: Did we EVER get to see Claw's face? I remember the action figure having a sticker over his face on the packaging, and I think that the last episode ever (not the new one) actually showed his face. Help me out, man!!

BTW: If Disney had taken the orginal cartoon seriously, there would have been a really kick-@$$ movie.

^As far as I remember, in the original series the most that we ever got to see of Claw was his arm and in one episode his silhouette.

There was the Claw action figure where you got to see his entire body (including his face), plus you get to see him in the old SNES game. Both (I believe) were released a great while after the series original run though.

Because of this, and because his appearance didn't seem to match the cartoon character's voice at all (atleast not in my opinion), in my book neither have anything to do with the original series.

And I agree with you on the Disney remark. They didn't even aim it at the correct age group (the correct adult age group anyway…obviously the movie would also be aimed at kids).

EDIT - AND SPOILER ALERT (I guess)

Here is what the action figure looked like complete with face…

and here he is in the SNES game…

THUNKT!!

Eeeeewwwww…..

Well, that sucks. However, the SNES version does do the voice of Claw some justice, even though you cannot see it too well.

THUNKT!!
