For the Wii version (as Midcoast Ghostbuster noted), old-school gaming fans will recognize the art style of some of the box arts in the game developer's office. If you played the NES back in the last 1980's, you'll recognize the art styles of Konami, Capcom and Ultra Games box arts used on the posters. Along with the VERY obvious nod to the Nintendo box art style for Super Fungus Dudes.

There's also a “Tighten up the graphics on Level 3” comment on one of the dry erase boards in the office, making a joke of that lame informercial of how easy (and inaccurate) it is to make a video game by going to the video game school the commercial advertised.

The “older fins”? What do you mean? I can't say I've ever noticed a different set of fins on the back. How are they different?

Actually they're different on the front door, not the back. The angle where it finishes under the mirrors. Check the damaged one on the floor by the lockers near the couches and the car (or the car on the game select screen) and then check the car itself in the fire station.

I didn't see anyone else has posted this, but I just scanned the thread really quickly so forgive me but…

Since it was a topic of discussion BEFORE the game released, did anyone else notice that on the final version of the 360/PS3 box art Winston got his mustache back? I thought I was just imagining the difference until we put up this huge GB:TVG sign up at work which featured the old version.

Hmm… I'm surprised no one mentioned the commodore 64 on the shelves on the opposite side of Tully's desk.

Mentioned in other threads as well, is the final screen text to the old GB video game on the computer in the firehouse as well.

Here's a question, I read what that one guy said about Ecto for the cut scenes was modeled after one of the cars at Universal. Well, I know the Ecto there has the red flashers in front of the light bar, is that why the lights are red in the cut scenes but blue whenever you stand next to Ecto-1?

Exactly, they updated the design of the car after the cut scenes were done, and not just the red to blue lights but the mirrors, the front door fins were improved, the flashers on the front grille went from orange to white and other small things. You can see the original version of the car if you find the toy Ecto-1, they didn't update that one.

Maybe an upcoming CGI Ghostbusters movie?

Wasn't that Skankerzero's little touch. He once said - although I'm not sure this is why it was included - that the 1990 key to the city could explain the absence of the twin towers in the 1991 continuity of the game. If anyone can remember where he said that, hopefully they can point you towards it!

snapped a couple shots of some easter eggs. sorry about the quality (taken on a cell phone) I found the “Conglaturations!!!” screen from the NES game, what I believe to be a poster from the old Filmation Ghostbusters from before the movies (if it is I don't know how they got the rights to use the poster in the game), two different hard hats from GB2, the hot beverage thermal mug and free balloon for the kids, and the drawing from Ed Spengler to Uncle Egon (even though I thought some of the plot in that movie was dumb). I still haven't found the GB2 sign or doors yet but I'm still looking.
