Yeah. I've played it before. It's like an overhead view game. I dont remember if it was good or not though (I was only 7). You can find info on it at Ecto-Web: http://www.ecto-web.biz.be/

Data East made an RGB arcade game back in 1987. It was pretty fun, actually. smile

Yup, there was an RGB arcade game (I own one of the PCB). It was a top down up-scrolling shooter. What was really unique about it was that it was one of the few arcade games that was built for three players at the same time.

I have the ROM somewhere, and it's not too bad (considering the date it was made etc).

It's a lot better than the Amstrad version I had back in the day anyways…

Yes they did.. I have one in my collection. They were offered in 2 versions. A dedicated cabinet which is a 3 player version. And a conversion for existing game cabinets which was a 2 player version. They are apparently quite rare, as I only know of 1 other complete dedicated game besides mine. (I know of 2 conversions also) Its a Top down shooter, and players can join at any time. Its actually lots of fun to play.

There is a Photo of My machine here:

I used to own an RGB board too, plugged it into my NBA Jam machine. Worked fine. I eventually traded/sold it to get something else for my coin-ops, but I can't remember what!

No home versions was made but you can get the ROM over at http://www.mame.dk
