about a month ago a got from a relieable sourse who worked with the gb movies the plot to gb3 before the whole franchise died..
the whole plot was a swarm of ghosts and stuff atack new york then the boss ghost desroys the ecto-1 and towards the end of the movie ray says dont worry we have backup and they drive out the station with the ecto fire fighter and slimer is now a good guy and is wearing a ghostbusters fire hat and a proton pack and winks at the camera then it ends. i would tell you who my source is but he didnt want to be named

something is telling me i shoudlnt believe this, considering it has been said many times before but w/e sounds cool, like a good idea for a fan fic

Destroying the Ecto-1 for a Fire Engine? Slimer as a good guy with a Pack? And no real confirmation that this “Source” works with Sony, there's no weight in this topic. Mate, I think you've been had.

hmmm… maybe you haven't read or heard the SEVERAL interviews with dan and harold about the plot for GB3, which is NOTHING like what you described.

oh well….. i believe the guy atleast. i mean if he represents the toy makers who made the toys then he would know the story behind the ecto firefighter truck

…The Ecto Firefighter truck if my memory serves me right was just something churned out during the spontanious “Let's make anything and slap a GB logo on it” phase.

ok kingpin that makes since considering they gb's had a flipping dune buggy and race car but still im torn between who i believe, maybe im just a gallible guy

your source was wrong. people on this site have read dan's first draft, and it is NOTHING like what you described. there is a review of the script on filmforce.ign.com as well as our own castewar's protongharging.
