That said, I was never really into Half Life so it doesn't really hold much interest for me.

Am I one of the only people who never really understood the idea of crossovers? Most of them just end up very corny and stupid because the characters don't fit correctly together. They come off as cheap and boring.

I agree with you on that one. I only crossover fics if they are written really well but mostly I don't bother most of the time.
