He's still pushing for it. I'm a believer. Eventually, Ghostbusters 3 will be made. You know why I believe that? Because anything can happen in Hollywood; nothing stays dormant forever. “Caddyshack” and “The Three Amigos” are up for sequels. That alone should say something. But, really what I was gonna say is that Spider-Man (the 2002 movie) took over 30 years to be made; 10 or 12 of those years of it was spent behind red tape. So, this is the same situation with GB3. And if this GB Revival proves successful, than you can bet your bottom dollar that will lead to a second movie sequel.

I dont think he will ever give up. I dont think he is worrying about it right now cause he has project he is working on at the momment. But eventually he will bring his baby back to life. Afterall, Ghostbusters is his baby. Him and Harold made it, and they would do anything to have one last run. Even if it has to be without Bill (which can be done rather you think so or not). If Hulk freakin' Hogan can make a comeback and win the title. Anyone can!

It can't be done without Bill. He still owns part of the rights and won't budge. Not to mention the other factors. Harold Ramis even jokes about it now. He recognizes that it won't be done and laughs when the question constantly comes up. I doubt Harold Ramis would do anything for one last run. Like everyone involved, his interest in the project has gone down over the years.
Dan Aykroyd's enthusiasm has dropped too. Sure he still loves Ghostbusters but if he as a friend/associate of Bill Murray can't convince him, who will? He realizes it will likely not be made as well. If people that are actually involved in Ghostbusters say it can't be made for various reasons, wouldn't they know more about it than hopeful fans on the net? Did I mention Sony doesn't wanna do it? :d

i know how we can change bills mind…………..WOMAN and lots of them his choice too and a stay at the playboy house but no i think Danny is still goin full force but ya if caddy shack its gettin a 3rd movie than we should get GB3 but did u think of this maybe bill had a deal that if he got caddy shack 3 than he would make Ghostbusters 3….could they be up to something
