Do you beleive in God?

Adam Bestler worships Cosmic People I hear.

I'm assuming the agnostic people are voting for yes? Otherwise theres a bit of a disporportionment amongst the people replying and the people voting.

I'm surprised that so many people beleive in god since there is no evidence to back up its existence.

Theres no evidence to disprove it either.

That's not a very good reason to beleive in something.

That's the basis of faith, the belief in something despite the lack of any real proof.

It may not be the best way to believe in something, but it makes a lot of people happy.

The same could be said for writing off a possibility because you see no evidence for it, I'm not advocating that anyone change their beliefs but to merely assume that because there is no evidence that suggests there is a higher power then there is none, is pretty misleading.

It's possible it's out there. It's possible that we just aren't meant to understand.

For most of the people who do believe in God, they find some sort of evidence that they can agree with to justify God's existence. Just because the evidence then may not exist for you, does not mean that it doesn't exist for others.

I find it incredibly difficult to believe that there is a singular almighty being in charge of everything. Also the bible stories are just so questionable.

I'm sure there is some sort of higher existence, but we could never possibly understand what it is with our tiny brains.

There is no evidence of God, or any proof of any other religion for that matter. I beleive in life after death, but I find it hard to beleive stories in a book, which according to todays facts, weren't even recorded historically. Basically, they were written down 50 years after whatever happened.

Whatever makes people happy. I just find it hard to beleive, and I find it rather ironic, as I've use to go to a catholic school, and many teachers there have a hard time beleiveing in the paranormal, UFOs, or Ghosts, where there is at least something that proves it might exisist.

It's ironic. It's pretty much blind faith, since nothing can prove it exsists, or otherwise.

What evidence?

I would say that to a person who believes in God and believes that God communicates with them in their heart, that alone would qualify as evidence enough.

I'm not suggesting that I find that to be true, but that is what some people do believe. It's all about perspectives and how one has been socialized into this world.
