does anybody know where i can find a person who has made a full wood proton pack and if you know someone could i view their plans cause i believe that wood is the best solution to the proton pack and the particle thrower prop.

They used Norm's and Stefan's Plans to make their pack.

Hey, i know how to solve ya problems.
I have already made a full wodden proton pack. Mine has two head lights at the sides. It turns on when i press the on button on the switch box. Just to let you know, i built it myself insted of wasting money by ordering it online. Really, it quite simple to make.

All you need is two identical planks of wood about the size of your tv screen: (unless your tv is not the huge type), some old strands of wires, junks like old battery starters, a saw for cutting your wooden plank, tubes of super glue and don't forget one more thing.

The two identical planks of wood that i mentioned was the cover, the width of those pieces of wood are as thin as your fingers. You still need a big chunk of the same shape to be placed in the middle. That way, it looks bigger.

Instructions
————

1. Take you two identical planks of wood and carve them with a saw in to the shape of the proton pack.

2. Place the bigger chunk of wood of the same size of the other two in the middle of the two pieces of wood.

3. Seal them together and make sure they don't fall apart.

4. Start putting your lose strands of wires here and there on top of your proton pack. Use superglue or tape to hold them down firmly.

5. If you would like it to be coloured, after instruction 3, spray paint your pack with whatever colour you like.

6. To make it more realistic, try putting labels on it. The labels that were placed on my pack indicated signs like: (CAUTION, hazardous equipment.eg)

Right now your all set to go show your proton pack to the world.

i think doing the entire thing out of wood would be a waste of time and money for instance the cyclotron… its much easier to purchase a cake pan and drill that out then to cut out a 9" circle out of wood,

It's a lot easier than you think it is plus the quality is a lot better too. You waste a lot less time working in the shop then going out and searching for the right shape and sized cake pan. Not to mention you gain more experience with the more work you do. wink
