Does the PS2 version work online?

I have to ask this. I haven't paid any attention to the GB coverage for the Wii and PS2 because I thought I only would play it on the 360. However, an act of God (lightning striking the transformer behind my house) shorted out the modem in my 360 so I can't get online. Im going to go buy the PS2 version to play while my 360 goes in the shop. Ordinarily I wouldn't go buy the ps2 version but I can't go 3 weeks+ without bustin.

So, does the PS2 version work online?

No. The PS2 online service has pretty much been disbanded.
The PS2 version is pretty glitchy and freezes.

Ya PS2 does work online, but you can try with PS3 i guess it works!

To be frank, the PS2 version barely works offline. I wouldn't hold your breath.

Although I haven't played the PS2 Version, I've been told it's very buggy compared to the other versions.
