I have to agree there. Its a Movie. …..Fiction. Ghostbusters wasn't based on real events. It takes things into historical account and the equipment was based on the ideas of equipment of real ghost investigators. However, seriously the firehouse which there are two of (one for the outside shots, one for inside shots) was picked for pure script ideas.
