A GB comic is coming! Cant wait!
But an interresting question came to me.
When I was a big comicfan, I readed a starwars limited series called
“Shadow of the Empire”.
I dont know if it had a series on TV, but whats interesting is that: action figures from that title and videogame came on the market!
Can we hope the same appen to the new Ghostbusters comic book? This make me crazy!

Shadows of the empire was actually based on the video game that came out for the Nintendo 64. And we can only that with the release of the comic will lead to other things depending on the success of the comic

IIRC, Shadows of the Empire was actually a project that spanned lots of different media. In addition to the video game, there were books, toys, trading cards, and even a soundtrack. All I know about the story is from reading the backs of the books in the bookstore, but I believe it takes place between Empire and Jedi.

I personally thought the novel was a VERY good and fun read.
Shadows of the Empire was a joint project between Lucas Arts, Hasbro, Dark Horse Comics, and Lucas Books. It was meant to show the story between Empire and Jedi. It actually did very good. For any of you that might like to know, there is a new Star Wars tie in project that is just beginning and is going to go through the summer and fall. It is called “Clone Wars”. There are already comic books about it out now, and soon there will be a new toy line, a mini cartoon series on cartoon network, a video game (which has already been released), and graphic/regular novels. Basically, its going to be awsome.

Hey, there was already a Starwars story after The Return Of The Jedi where the emperor kill himself and return into one of his clone. Luke tryed to destroy all the emperor's clone but failed…
I guess they had to do some anyway after Episode2.
