DS questions thread...

Ok I don't own it and i'm trying to find out if its worth it for more to pay my friend to buy it and loan it to me for a week to play it. (I don't own a DS)

My questions are:
How close is it to the Stylized version for Wii/PS2?
How does the Ecto-1(or Ecto-1b) driving factor into the game?
Are there any exclusive ghost not in the realistic or stylized versions?

Thanks for your time!

It has the exact style of the mentioned games just with blocky DS graphics.

How does the Ecto-1(or Ecto-1b) driving factor into the game?

Its actually play a huge part in the game. About as much as the Ecto-1 in the NES original. You free-roam the city, looking for random ghosts in between missions.

Are there any exclusive ghost not in the realistic or stylized versions?

Hard to tell. Sorry I couldn't be too helpful on that one.

Thanks for the thoughts. I am surprised no one is talking about the DS version, being way different from the other versions.

i'm actually really enjoying the DS version, and it's definately tiding me over untill the 360 version arrives on my shores.

I love the fact that you have a choice to further the story or sit and go on calls all day without wasting the game. The RPG and business management elements really make the game more enjoyable.

Also, the DS version contains scenes which do not appear in the other versions, such as the parade battle.

I am seriously thinking about purchasing the DS version to play while here at work for the next few weeks…but I dunno if I really WANT to sink more money into the game…again…but knowing me I probably will

it's a great way to kill a few hours. My only gripes are that the bosses are disgustingly easy and the driving sequences are marred by slippery steering.

Think of it as an updated version of the david crane game, just with a storyline built in.

Oh snap…

I may check it out. I am sure it is a decent companion to the 360/PS3/PC version much like the PS2 / Wii version

Does the game use voice clips from the actors?

No, voice acting, but you do get the movie soundtrack recreated rather nicely.
