Dumb Question...Proton Pack Vs a Zombie

I was watching this video game review and the reviewer was dressed as a ghostbuster and he came across a zombie,He blasted it but it had no effect.

To be “realistic” on the subject what would a proton pack exactly do to a reanimated corpse? Catch Fire,Blow it up,ect?

the impact of the stream would prbly rip a hole and/or rip off limbs on the reanimated zombie while the eztreme heat from the streams would catch it ablaze

they fight zombies in the game i thought , the zombies just get vaporized, in real life i would seem them getting melted or burnt to a crisp or just plin blowing them up
