Ok, after some research you are right, there are some other differences. The CE version of the Plasma Cutter isn't exactly at 1:1 but is just slightly smaller (to allow for it to fit into the game box), is mostly plastic, and lacks the Epic versions 3 LED lights to replicate the targeting lasers. Not to mention the spiffy case.

I had not intention of removing mine from the case but it looked the same beyond the paint job.
