Hi all,
I've seen the East TN Ghostbusters website posted here at gb.net and I've e-mailed these guys twice but with no reply. Are these guys for real or not? Doc Roberts I know you should know about this situation you being a veteran TN ghostbuster and all. All I need to know is if these guys really exist or not, I want to start up my own franchise here in Knoxville TN.

The ETGB doesn't really seem to be very official. I've been in contact with the guy who runs it a few times (about 6-9 months ago), it seems to be more of a fan site than a “franchise” site.
If I were you, I'd try to contact the webmaster…if that didn't work, then perhaps it's time for “The REAL East Tennessee Ghostbusters”?!
Another note of moderate interest, the ETGB site doesn't appear on the official GBI master franchise list. I wonder why?

Doc,
I e-mailed Louis last night about this subject, and if I get a green light there will be a Real East TN Ghosbusters franchise
I might as well ask ahead of time, but would you guys possibly be interested in type of association agreement until i get the biz on its feet?

Its official, The East TN Ghostbusters are for real! Check out our site for more info(which we dont have much of at the current moment).

Is your franchise still running? We've been around for a few months and didn't know if there was another franchise. If you guys are still active, ya'll wanna join up with us. There was a third ETGB but they can't be contacted and haven't been heard from in a long while. Even on GBN their boss hasn't been online since July.

I haven't seen anything new from East Tn. in a while. My best suggestion is to take a look at the GBI Master List. It's the official record of who is considered a franchise with the home office and who's not.
At last glance, I didn't see anyone else listed in Tennessee but the MTGB.
There are several helpful threads here that'll help you get your location started…“How to start a GBI Franchise”, etc…
Just be on the lookout for stuff like that. Hope that's of some help.

I'm in Memphis, what city(ies) are the rest of you TN guys in?

We also performed Soul Man in Isaac Hayes' restaurant while he was there (Check the album marked Oscar Night America).
