Ecto-1, How much would you pay?

Hi, I'm new but had a question to throw out there…

Let's say you could purchase an Ecto-1, exact replica, it runs, everything works, ‘59 Miller Meteor, etc…

Legitamately, how much would you pay?

There was on that went on E-Bay a few months back that I believe went for $40000-45000 (please correct me if I’m wrong).

Just interested to hear…

Thanks.

It would depend on how screen accurate it is, honestly. There are plenty of replicas out there that look great, but when push comes to shove they don't look exactly like Ecto-1.

If I had the expendable income though? You bet your ass I would buy the original if it ever went on sale.

agreed, make sure you know exactly how accurate down t the smallest of details, from a turn signal to paint color.

as for pricing, i'd check the records of what some big name auction house that sold actual and replica tv/movie cars have sold them for, just as a base reference.

I think I would not go above 30 000€ and this if the car is in a perfect shape…

I wouldn't buy it, it is something only a car purest could take care of right. That and I'm sure it would be way out of anyone's price range I know.
