that's from the same guy that had the ecto 1 plate from the first movie. he said it's from the same molds that were used to make the ones for the movie. he got the plate from the company that made the plates for the movie.

Theres always a possibility of it being a replicated prop from ghostbusters, but a Ghostheads word is a Ghostheads word, and i trust that.

It is EXACTLY as described.
It was made by the company that made them for the Movies.
I never claimed it was an original screen used piece.
The only difference between that one and the on that was on the car at the begining of GB2 is that they used the GB mold for it on accident and it has the dash. other than that it is identical.
If it did not have the dash it would be at a $175 reserve like the GB Plate that I sold a couple of weeks ago. instead of the $100 no reserve.
These were not cheap to get, and its as close to an original as anyone will ever get for $100

you have my strictest apologies. it can be so easy to replicate licence plates of any sort. but i find trust to be a huge asset within the GB community and im sorry for doubting you. Ive been having a bad week - none the less i shouldve and now wish i did stop & think before i replied with such a blunt comment. to be honest, after a closer comparision it looks alot like the “real deal”, just that the “real deal” was a bit dirty. im sorry.
