My wife collects Hallmark and I got 3 of them, yes 3. heh I will use one for halloween decoration and on my sci fi tree. Plus I got star wars and trek ornaments. I plan to pick up more and stock pile them up. They will be collector's items as Hallmark destroys the molds after the year they are put out, so they will NEVER be remade.

Good to know… I may need to stockpile some of these as well. I was planning on buying 3 but might need to buy more in case they ever break.

This weekend was the premier and she said a couple places were sold out, but they will get more in. If you see them, BUY them.

Just figured it out! If any of you are as simple as I (not saying anyone is, though), the middle screw is all you have to remove to get to the batteries. The screw that is dead-center, with the mufflers. I had to use a pair of pliers to turn the screwdriver.

Awesome little piece though. I think I'll go buy another one to put with my collection of ectos

Yeah, I got Darth Vader, and many others and some are easy to get the batteries in, others suck ass.

I picked up 4 of these this afternoon. One for my parents tree, one for mine, one to keep in the box, and one for… I dunno what yet.

I recently checked it out at my local Hallmark, but I'm hesitant to pay $18.50 for it. I might reconsider if it's likely to gain value as a collector's item…

i still havent gone to the store to get one, or maybe 2, idk, i just feel that they are throwin alot of gb merch at us at once, i want to get my minimates first and i need two sets of those, pluss my sdcc stuff. i wish i had more money, i might sell my justice league collection to pay for them all

I picked up one today.

Thanks TimsGhost for mentioning which screw it was. Hallmark ornaments of past usually had instructions with them, surprised this one didn't even mention where the batteries went.
