Ecto1 on Grand Theft Auto?

I was watching a YouTube video and seen were this guy had found the Ecto 1 in Grand Theft Auto

Is it really in the game or did he put it there using some kind of program?

In the info on the YouTube page, it has the link to download the car.

Oh! Bummer, so its not on the game?

I was gonna go pick up a copy

So I would imagine you would have to have your PS2 hooked up to the internet for online playing to do that?

It's a PC mod only, as I understand it. Nothing for consoles, I'm afraid.

My guess would be that's the PC version, but I don't know. I've never really fully understood the downloading skins thing and how to do it, but I've been under the impression its mainly for PC, and I guess now the PS3 and 360.

Yep, thats just a PC mod for that version of GTA, though I think this has already been confirmed. I think they also have the DeLorean as well, and it flies to.

im affrait to tell u guys thats this is for pc version only!!!!!!!!!!!
i have to know it because im from the gta modding scene!
what u need is a special version from gta san andreas (v.1.0 if i remember), img-tool!
and the download ofcourse!

a car in gta is basicly build up from 2 imgs ( in the img-archieve, to open with the tool )
1. dff, 3d model
2. txd, texturdata!

the download comes with this 2 files and u have to use the tool to replace the files with allready exiting ones ( for ex. an hearse )

if some one wants to give it a try, i recoment to have a look at all the gta modding sites on the web for further tutorials!
