I use the compose function on the e-mail program site Gmail if I am feeling like doing spell checks. Most of the time I am just to lazy to do it myself.

What programs do you write with? Some programs don't have that feature at all.

spelling is such a lame topic to discuss, especially if you have nothing better to do than proofread fan fic. that is more anal retentive then my Mechanical Engineering instructors. and they are heartless souls that wonder the Earth with a red pen searching for some poor intern to cuss out about how bad his lettering is, when we all know it is no longer done or even acceptable by hand!!!!! :@ BTMO

Whats lame is his concept for this story. Discussing his poor spelling skills is fair game considering this is apparently his “craft”. If this was truly his craft he'd be ashamed to spell the way he does.

yeah spelling is bad, we know and all but the story could have a hope, consider freddy vs jason, that was not as bad as it could have been, maybe incorprate a few lesser minor characters have them riped out kind of like on that episode of RGB ( the name escapes me but i think it was called captain steel.) eatingfood could go thatg route, but instead of a comic book, perhaps another dimension, that kind of thing happens in both the DC and the GB universes all the time. it could be done and done well but it would be hard to do.

Freddy and Jason are both horror villains, it's possible for them to exist in the same world.

The Ghostbusters live in a realistic world where superheroes don't exist though. In fact, Ray makes references to the fact that he reads Superman comic books at times in RGB, proving that to the Ghostbusters, the JLA are fictional characters.

And for God's sake, spelling is major part of writing that can't be ignored. The audience needs to understand your words and not become distracted by errors. If you can't spell properly, you have no right to call yourself “an awesome writer”.

And just for the record, it's a lie to say something's your “craft” unless you get paid for it. A craft is a professional career.

That's very true. Plus, it seems you also have problems with gramical errors (if gramical is even a word, I'll admit I'm no pro at spelling either). That can really confuse a reader.

“Craft” can also refer to a skill one uses to deceive others, or in this case, oneself.

Pro Tip: Read your story to yourself aloud, and if it sounds natural to you as you're speaking, then it's good writing.

Pro Tip: Ask a friend to read your story to you and see how well they play it out.

Pro Tip: If you want to write this, then nobody's stopping you, but they're right in saying that nobody else will enjoy it but yourself.

Pro Tip: To defeat the Cyberdemon, shoot at it until it dies.
