Which do you think is better, and why?

IMO EGB is far superior, i really don't see why it gets so much hate. The art was better, better ghosts and storys. RGB was way to cartoony and geared towards younger kids and alot of episodes where just boring.

Lets see, rgb was original, you can't even compare the two. Hasn't this been debated on here before?

Original isn't always better.

Why are you holding a poll if your just going to tell people that EGB is better. I personally don't see the point to this post. You cite better animation as being a reason. This isn't even applicable, since you are comparing two shows from different times. Sure Star Trek: Voyager had better special effects then the original Star Trek, but you don't see people saying that makes it better.

I'm not doing that, it's called debate. He made a point as to why RGB is better which i thought wasn't a valid reason.

1) The best episodes of Extreme Ghostbusters in terms of “art” (I don't like such a undefined term in this case… do you mean animation, designs?) could never hold a candle to the most well animated episode of The Real Ghostbusters, The Collect Call of Cathulhu, Ghost Fight at the OK Corral, You Can't Take it With You represent some of those episodes, and are fathoms better in terms of animation.

XGB had consistency, granted, but RGB, when at its best, had the best animation out of the two.

2) It was aimed at children, but also managed to appeal for adults. XGB, regardless of it's ‘extreme’ attitude, was never really seriously aimed at teenagers.

3) Well, by your logic, some episodes of XGB were “just boring”. - Please try use a more thoughful argument than that they were “just boring”.

That, is not a debate. You've already made your decision that RGB is inferior.

I've made my decision that EGB is better just as most of you have made your decision that RGB is the better cartoon.

Im not trying to “convert” anyone lol, just seems like EGB isn't disliked as much as it is just flat out hated by most people. And i wanted to see why, whats wrong with EGB, what is it about RGB that makes it so much better?
