I love the new Egon. i wouldn't change a thing, but doesn't he look like the Peter in the original case study drawings.

I really mean it! That's a great Dr. Egon Spengler! I sure am glad his P.K.E. Meter is the one that we saw in the Original Movie! That's definitely a much younger Harold Ramis! The glasses are too much like Louis Tully's (Rick Moranis.) glasses, though.

So far the only thing that I don't like about the equipment, is that there isn't an A.L.I.C.E. Frame on the Proton Pack, and they don't have the Circuit Board Pouch W/ the Leg Tube. Where are they, anyway? :0 :O

Now we've got to get ready for Dr. Peter Venkman, Janine Melnitz, the Ecto-1, the Firehouse Headquarters, Slimer, and possibly Louis Tully. I hope they're even better! I know Egon and Winston are great, and so they'll probably be great, too! :s :d

BTW, this picture of Egon is waaaaaaay better looking than the one of Ray!

BTW: Will Egon still be taller and thinner than the others? I sure do hope he will. :s :d

Hey Fritz, look at the bright side, at least Egon is better looking than that Guy in tan who kinda looks like of Dan Aykroyd!

Doc, they do have the ALICE frames, you can see the top of it behind Ray and Winston's heads, it looks like a headrest but it's simply the foam covering the frame.

Another thought: he looks a bit young. Maybe it's just me.

egons gun grip was made for the man with 6 fingers and a thumb, was egon hiding somethign from us? :s

I do think his hiar could be a little bit different, its to normal, it just has the combed back look, it needs to be more poofy, or stick up in the front or somethign like that….

You know, even though I saw the movie after the cartoon, I always thought of a Harold Ramis look alike for Egon. It took me forever to get used to people calling Egon blond.

So it's only fitting they switch it back now that I've got it.

As for the actual artwork, I won't complain, although the trend suggests that Peter will end up looking more like Bill Murray, which I'm not sure is a good thing.

Mon, I think Ghostbusters is now creating two unrelated parallel univereses… the OGB one featuring GB1, 2 and the comic… and then The RGB and EGB one… Both tottally unrealted and both as real as each other.
