Egon's Hair

On the cartoons it is blond/white. IN the movies his hair is dark brown. Is there a reason for this.

they couldn't use the exact likeness of the actors from the movie. egon looked to much like harold so they gave him yellow hair(*egon)

I bet it's more to do with making each of the characters more identifiably different than the fact that having brown hair made RGB Egon look too much like Harold Ramis.

I read in a rgb comic, marvel U.K. i think. That Egon's hair turned blond because he ate some kind of mushroom by accident because of Slimer

And those commentaries were also made 20 years after the fact. That being said I wouldn't put 100% faith in everything they say as fact in that as a lot of time has passed. I suspect it has to do with both. They couldn't use the actors likeness (for any of them mind you) so they made all the character different so they'd stand out.
