I don't think so…in a GB movie, you just have to have Dana around, at least for a few scenes. Peter and Dana provide the series' romance (like I care! smile).

well if she only appeared in a couple of scenes posing as his wife/girlfriend it mightve been better and they'd be helping another womans baby? or something like manholes popping up off the street along with other heavy metallic objects chasing someone with the intent of death because she/he possesed something special? then the person finally escapes onto a bus then the opening credits happen. it shouldve been alot scarier.

Actually, I remember reading that the original GB2 storyline didn't have Dana at all, but someone decided “you can't have a GB movie without Dana!” So, she was literally shoehorned into the script.

Dana was in GB2 for nostalgic value and it worked.
