Emergency! Last Min Prop Help!

Hey Guys,

I've spent all of October working on GBN. I have a party to go to tomorrow and I need to finish my Ghostbusters flightsuit.

I wish I had time to build a prop (although I'll probably buy one of Norm's packs for next year). I got the suit, the belt, and the patch. I just need to do as much as I can without props to make it look good. I'm going to hot topic to get a knit hat (just in case), so this is an emergency.

I would really appreciate it if people replied with tips on getting the elbow pads (in places in the mall), stuff for the belt, the hose, etc.

All help is greatly appreciated. Maybe, just maybe someone in the greater LA area would let me borrow a proton pack? That would rule!

you can get keyrings they used in the movie to hook gadgets on to at a hardware store in either the key section or the toolbelt section. You can get a Motorola MT-500 and Leather holster from Bob Merrit, but you'll need his E-mail if you don't already have it. wink

Also, for kneepads you can buy white volleyball knee pads from skidmoresports.com, you'll need to dye them twice with grey to get a desired effect from the movie.

For the hose you'll need around 6 feet of 1/2“ to 1/4” yellow tubing(hard to find at a hardware store) or clear unless someone finds you something better, and you'll need some hose barbs from the plumbing section to hold the hose to what ever you are attaching it to.

Hope this info helped some smile
