Are there any new pieces of equipment you would like too see?
A new bust using the Tripod Trap? Wireless trap?

Would you mind if they redesign the proton packs or the uniforms?

Yea, I'd mind if they redesign the packs and uniforms.

The upgrades from the video game should be included, and some new equipment, but they shouldn't change the main look of the proton packs and uniforms.

I don't think that the proton packs, traps, uniforms etc etc should be changed at all. I would however like to see one or two new ghost catching gadgets though.

I think that the Original GB's will still use the same Protonpack and ghost trap to. They might use new tools for the new trainers that they train and the Original GB's might use the new tools to. They will use the old tools with the new tools for GB3. It will be very cool to see what they use in GB3 when the Original GB's train a new team to help them out.

First: It's “too”, not “to.”

Second: You mean trainees, not trainers.

Read a book.

I think they should use the equipment from the game, since it is actually (in a sence) the 3rd movie, and speaking of, if the game is a direct continuation of GB 2, wouldn't a new GB movie be GB 4? Just something to think about.(*peter)

That would be too confusing for the casual fan. They've said the game is “essentially” Ghostbusters 3 in the past, but its not officially titled that, and given the recent developments towards a possible third movie, it would surely be called Ghostbusters 3, and not Ghostbusters 4. Sorta like “Enter The Matrix” isn't considered the second Matrix movie, but rather a continuation of the story, that bridges the gap between movies.

I agree with Doctor Venkman. Although Ghostbusters the videogame is a continuation of the first two movies I don't think that Ghostbusters III needs to take into account anything which happened in the game.

Well that's not really what I was saying…

The game should be canon. It doesn't need to be directly referenced in the new movie, but it also shouldn't be completely ignored.

As far as I'm concerned, its part of the canon, and involved in the movie universe.

Oh, I see. Sorry about the misunderstanding. With regards to Ghostbusters III I think that the easiest and simplest thing to do would be to would be to just not make and reference to the game at all. It probably won't be necessary. I suppose that we're going to have to find out exactly what happens in the game before we can say whether or not a references to it are necessary in the third movie.
