Why would they use slime blowers!? Come on, they were crappy in the first place. No real use but to slime lady liberty and ray, so lets say you arm a fellow buster with one of these things and they catch up with a nasty ghost that CANNOT be hit with solid objects, what are they going to do? You have to think about the difference between human spirits and demonic spirits, demons can hurt you and human spirits cannot. A slimeblower is a pointless tool.
