Okay, people. Ernie Hudson, though i think he's cool and all, isn't really the star. I'm not sure, but I don't think he was even all that famous at the time! But hey, I wasn't born until ‘86. Also, I’m not racist and all, but during the 80's there was a lot more racism than there is today, so that could very well be the reason.

Hmm…actually if any of you read the Yahoo chat Ernie Hudson did in either ‘99 or 2000, Ernie told his “fans” that not a day goes by where people don’t recognize him for his work in Ghostbusters. I can't speak for him or any of the stars, although it does seem that Mr. Hudson “gets” the franchise (in this case, the fan base) and would like to work on a third film if it were to ever happen. Much like his character, once again he seems to be a regular guy.

I know I appreciated that (from what I remember) the success of the film didn't make him go Hollywood on us. Thanks Bill…

And to whomever said Ernie not getting his credit for racism of the ‘80s… where did your comment come from? It seemed inappropiate, ya know? I was six when the movie came out so like you I wouldn’t have had a clue about racism in 1984. I'm just curious, that's all. Not here to bash or start a flame war.

True that, he does!
And after that first one, he stopped being an employee and was one of the guys. RGB is like the transition point.

Actually, according to Harold Ramis, he looked at Eddie's film credits and said; “Your too qualified for this job.”

I ALWAYS HATED the fact that in all the versions of the GB games, (on NES and Sega master System.) There are only 3 ghostbusters, and you know one of them ain't Winston because their all white.

And, on one of my frequent trips to the floor, er, preview channel, the description was; “Three scientists go to work investigating ghosts.”
…my head hurts….

Did all these people who made the descriptions and games only see HALF the movie? Or go to the bathroom when Winston joined? It always pissed me off. And in the comercial for GB1 he ain't in it, but he is in GB2.
