A couple of days ago I sent an email to Ernie Hudson.

Last night he sent me this kind response:


Dear Matthew,
Thanks for sharing this news with me. I hadn't heard about this
latest
turn in the Ghostbusters 3 saga, but it sounds like it should be
interesting
- even though I always prefer live action! I haven't been contacted to
be
in it, but I would definitely like to revive my Winston character. I
guess
that only time will tell from this point on. Thanks again for sharing

Well, those are the words from the man himself and as you can see, he knew nothing of the recent news which I found a little surprising. It's great to know he wants to do another Ghostbusters and I share his preference that it should be a live action movie. It also sounds like he'd be willing to voice Zeddmore if indeed this CGI movie is given the green light.

Hmm, I wonder what Ramis knows about this…..

I know Ramis said he's no longer interested in acting and hasn't done anything on screen in a while. But this is Ghostbusters, he'd atleast lend his voice.

I don't know whether harold would act in a live action movie. I think he Probably would if the script was good and Murray was on board. I know that Harold no longer acts and may even be reluctant to these days but I think that Dan could easily talk him into it.

I think that Harold would voice his character in a CGI, but only if he was happy with is being in CGI in the first place.

I don't think Harold loves Ghostbusters as much as Dan but I think that it is a very special movie to him and he'd probably be cooperative towards getting just about anything going, that is if it passed the Ramis script seal of approval.

He was in a movie last year! He played Professor Bowler in “The Last Kiss”. I guess that “not acting anymore” was a bit of unofficial rubbish.

Interesting he hasn't been told. I hope they are not leaving him out. Maybe, they need the final “ink on the dotted line” to make it official.
