July 22, 2006 - Ever since Ghostbusters 2 was released nearly twenty years ago, San Diego's Comic-Con has been a breeding ground for rumor of a possible sequel. Harold Ramis, the director of the first two Ghostbuster movies, indicated recently the sequel was further along than ever, hinting that he would like to cast Ben Stiller as one of the Ghostbusters.
At the Snoop Dogg Hood of Horror panel, Ghostbuster Ernie Hudson added fuel to the rumor fire, when he responded to the “will there be a sequel?” question.
Hudson said: "I've been hearing about Ghostbusters 3 for 20 yearsÂ
Harold would love to and Dan wouldÂ
Bill is the hold-out."

This is in line with statements that Ramis has made, lending credence to the sequel talk, and giving Ghostbuster fans even more to get excited about. As always, we will have more about the possible Ghostbusters sequel as we hear about it.
