are they ever gonna come out with the extreme ghostbusters on dvd. i really liked this show and thought it was a good sequel to the real ghostbusters. especially the two part episode “BACK IN THE SADDLE” where the original gang came back

God, I hope not. I personally didn't like the series. I always felt something was missing from that series. Never could place my finger on it…it just didn't have the same soul as the original. Back in the Saddle two parter was the only good part of that series if you ask me. But Meh…who knows.

huh, i thought it was pretty good it reminds me of the 90s.
they even brought back egons original voice
i even thought some of the episodes were really creepy.

I assume you already know about the Volume 1 release in Europe and I believe Australia? It probably came out elsewhere to. I think it's a Region 4 or something so could play on some DVD players.

I didn't really see any of Extreme first time around but got the DVD and enjoyed it. If they were to release more i'd buy it for sure!

Although it's nowhere near as good as RGB, I still ended up buying it because there's some good that can be drawn from it, and because I'd like to watch something that isn't a taped-from-TV bootleg.

Wonder if we'll have as long a wait for the remainder of the series to be released as the individual volumes of RGB that are coming out… or if we'll be in the same boat as the Gargoyles fans and be left in limbo with an incomplete series release.

I seriously think that will be the case but I hope i'm wrong and we get the rest of it. I think if we haven't hear anything by Novemeber, a full 12 months after the first volumes, it's safe to say we won't hear anything at all.

Kingpin, is there news that the RBG volumes are to continue?

There was a ten month gap between the release of Volume 1 and Volume 2, and a six month gap between Volumes 2 and 3.

It's only been 2 months since Volume 3 came out. Give it time.
