The AAF one is the best one yet! That was funny as hell!

i think the one that comes in 2nd place is Bloodhound Gang's song “Magna Cum Nada”, where in the middle of the song, they out and out say “I want to be a Ghostbuster.”

Now, im not sure, but did Weird Al Yankovic do a parody of the GB theme?

I'm pretty sure that “Weird Al” didn't do a parody of the theme. What you're probably thinking of is “I Want a New Duck,” which has an intro that sounds a lot like the GB theme.

At least, I think it's “I Want a New Duck”…

I could be wrong.

By the way, what does AAF mean?

we should have a section on GBN that list references about ghostbusters like on the Friday the 13th site. On it, they got a section for F13 references in music, songs, tv and movies, and misc. references. What do yall think? good idea? Think we can get chad to put one up? After all, maybe we could use all the references to GB to Sony or Murray and get the GB3 back on track or RGB on cartoon network. After all, GB has much influence on the way we think. Am i right?

Weird Al's song “I Want A New Duck” does not sound like Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters Sounds like “I want a New Drug”, and “I Want A New Duck” was a parody of that. Ghostbusters wanted Huey Lewis (author of “I want a new drug” to do a parody for Ghostbusters, he turned it down, and Ray Parker Jr. parodied it himself, and was taken to court. smile

In the book
“Beavis and Buttheads Guide To HollyWOOD” they mention a house being haunted, and the only way to fix this is to call those ghost catching guys….

SNL has three of four references that I know of, they all our pretty good.
