Fears over the comic

I think it's jumping the gun to assume that the ongoing series isn't going to happen. My guess is that Sebastien is waiting to see how the Legion hardcover sells to determine the fate of the ongoing. Here's what I think needs to be done to keep the ongoing alive:

1. Like the hardcover, print only as many copies as are ordered. At least at the beginning, to keep costs down.

2. Get the book out on time. Preferably monthly. But regardless of the schedule, the delays absolutely have to stop. Otherwise, the only people left buying the title will be the most die-hard of the die-hards.

3. Concentrate on getting Ghostbusters up and running smoothly before attempting any other projects. Keep Tron on the back burner for a while, so GB can get a foothold and a following outside the core audience.

I totally disagree.

1. Print many of the ongoing series and hope that it spreads by word of mouth and stuff.
2. Yes, get it out on time, but set a schedule you can keep to. If that's bi-monthly, so be it. And I never get the comic on time due to…stuff. So that doesn't bother me too much, but I agree that the delays have to be kept to a minimum.
3. Do what you can manage.

well, lets be realistic here. If 88MPH are going to print 10,000 copies of Ghostbusters then that is just foolish. I mean if they only sold and average of 1,300 then they need to keep it to that. I think each printing should be conservative.

They need to figure out if the comic is going to be bimontly or quarterly or whatever. They've already proven they cant do montly so they need to move on and find a schedule they can work with.

I also agree that they shouldnt try any new projects. They have to get their act together first with what they have. It would be foolish, if not suicide to start jumping from project to project.

Tron's not gonna happen because of production issues.
