If anyone is interested in copies of Filmations Original Ghostbusters live action tv show, put up a post and I can help. I have all 10 episodes that are available. The other 5 are simply impossible to come by.

Live Action? Never seen it? Is there a website with some screenshots of the series?

I don't know of any websites - but it was actually kind of cool. Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker of F-Troop fame starred with Tracy the gorilla. The Filmation series was based off of it.

i saw the live-action show when i was like 6. i was renting GB1 at the video store, but the dude behind the counter handed my mom the wrong ghostbusters. when i got home and started watching it, i cried cuz it wasn't my ghostbusters. it was pretty cool, though.

This is the info I have on the “other” Ghostbusters…
It was a live action sitcom in the 70s created by the founder of Filmation, Lou Scheimer. He then polished it up to compete with The real Ghostbusters. He streamlined the animation process and managed to keep animators on salary while quickly producing animation.
