Anyways, it doesn't matter, despite Atari not releasing anything official, between Verity and Aykroyd's radio interview, the cover has pretty much been blown, still, its sad that there is a huge delay for a game that was near completed, guess Atari's going to have to make a new commercial since “This fall, who you going to call?” doesn't apply.

Shame since that line was great but that's the breaks when dealing with big (stupid) business.

Oh funny, you're just a real barrel of laughs today. I was saying that cause the line was actually pretty catch, and “This spring/summer, who are you going to call?” doesn't roll of the tongue quite as good as the original line, but, I wouldn't expect you to think that.

Hey, where's the guy who said that he saw similarites between the new game and the old Sega Genesis game? Too bad his post got deleted last night in the madness that is internet glitchs (along with multiple more posts across the forum). That was a nice diversion.

I hadn't thought of it before, but I think I can see where he was coming from.

The Genesis Story: Pieces of an ancient artifact are spread across the city (spawning the different boss ghosts, I suppose) and creating the rise in supernatural activity. After defeating enough boss ghosts and collecting the pieces, the ghostbusters put the artifact together. It creates a portal to another dimension, which the ghostbusters must then travel through to defeat the major force behind it all.

The New Story (well, at least what I've pieced together): New Gozer exhibit opens with ancient artifacts. Artifacts grow in power (due to increased Gozer worship, I believe) creating a rise in supernatural activity. At some point, a portal opens to another dimention that the ghostbusters must travel through to defeat the major force behind it all.

Game play aside, detailed story aside, I think this is where he was coming from. Makes for an interesting discussion point.

No - from what I can tell it's just a glitch. A lot of posts were deleted in all forums. Kingpin noticed it in the Comic Book subsection and seemed surprised. Don't think this one was a mod thing. We'll get all our conversations back on track soon enough.
