I just downloaded Firefox and think that I am having a problem. When I save something to a folder it actually shows two icons. The one for the item saved with the Firefox icon and a second with a plain yellow folder with the files.
It is quite annoying and if I delete the files folder then both icons disappear.
Is this really the way it is suppose to be?

I can think of 2 ways to bypass this.

1) Add the page in question to my bookmarks. Once it is there open up the bookmarks and then drag drop the link in question onto my desktop and then it will produce a new web page on your desktop without the folder

B) Right click on your desktop -> go down to new -> then finally over to shortcut. Paste the link to whatever page you want in there and hit next, then fill in the name of the page -> finally hit finish.

Latter is my preferred method
