For those of you in high school...

How do things like that go around where you live. Around here, it's terrible. I've been cut from both the basketball and baseball team this year, and it's definately not because of my skill. I know that if your parents know people, and connections and what not, around here, that makes your team. How about you guys? Just wondering, just got cut from baseball tonight and I'm talk in' about it so I don't break anymore of my toys |

Football. Thats what it is around here. If you play football, High School will be a breeze. Our vice principle is the head coach for God's sake. I see jocks get away with everything. Very unfair times. Hang in there buddy.

I'd like to say I could hang in there, but this is my second year of being cut, and next year I'll again be up against the big huge kids I was against last year. I don't know what I'm gonna do, but I'm glad to hear this isn't the only “father knows coach” town. Even though it's unfortunate, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I went to Michigan Lutheran Seminary….it was the same way. Everything stated above was true at least while I went there.

I never applied for the football team, but was approached several times to join from coaches and other teachers because of my size. none the less i did something that no other kid did, i loved bikes and still do, i built them, repaired them, detailed, upgraded… but i rode mine. once i found out that i could go anywhere i loaded my bike with enough water & food & i rode up to 100km a day at times. it was a 20km ride to school, i rode it. and i rode back. funny though, no one at my school really knows anything about mountian bikes & the nobra circut so they thought that i was nuts.smilelol but all good things must come to an end, i eventually had to stop. i was hit from behind by a car and was launched over my handle bars through the rear window of a 1995 blazer in mid traffic. bike was fine, i was eventually too. but for some reason i just never really rode again.
im gone.

i played football for a year but stopped when i turned my ankle and got a couple of cracked ribs from being the center for my high school team. everybody wonders why i quit the team. lets face it im friggin staypuft here. everyone was upset when i quit. basically the real reason i quit was because of the coach. i played my junior year and the coach favored the seniors so he could get them scholarships and let them do everything so they could get into college. he focused his entire time on the seniors and the team ended up going 2-8. that's 2 wins and 8 losses.
i did not join the football team again after that because he was basically a D*ck. anyway this is just me venting so don't mind me.
i know how it feels to not be in something you want to do.
sorry for the rambling i just had to get it out.

ok bye
