For those of you that made your pictures, How did you make the proton beams?

I was wondering on some of the pictures people have created. How were the proton beams made. They look so cool, what would I need to make a picture like that.

I actually used a program called alamdv, which is designed for editing videos but you can also edit still shots with it, its at www.alamdv.com and then you have to download the particle stream plug in, you can also use photoshop, and use the xenofex lightning plug in.

Hey wingnut, I downloaded both those programs from www.alamdv.com but the particle stream isn't working, it says “Script Error”
any suggestions???

Photoshop can be an excellent program to use, if you can afford to buy it. I reccommend photoshop for this type of thing of Paintshop Pro 7. wink

Fireworks is a kick@$$ program and all but there are two things wrong.

1. If you dont have money to spend you're not getting this prog.

2. Fireworks takes a lot of memory and RAM to run, so if your systems is extremely slow or even moderate its most likely your system will crash whenever you try to use Fireworks.

Any questions?

Photoshop is really all you need, or paintshop pro. Their both smaller, cheaper, and as effective as Fireworks.
