According to a post over at cheapassgamer (you might have to be a member to view it) the ad for Toys R Us will offer a $20 gift card with the 360, PS3 and Wii versions of the game. I was going to wait to get the Wii version, but if it's $40 with a $20 gift card I think I might have to jump on it.

No, their gift cards don't work like that. It will most likely be activated after purchase and good for about 2 months. Still you could get the Wii version and then use the gift card from that one to get the DS version.

I could get the Wii version.. OR GB Blu Ray.. with the $20 off.. BUT.. is this only in US retail? I live in Canada. lol.

Actually, you won't be able to use the giftcard right away. It takes up to six hours for it to activate. (Learned this when I bought Resident Evil 5, they had the same deal going on.)

Just a heads up, the ad came out today and its only for the Wii, 360, and PS3 versions. Also, the gift card is only good through July 31st. Oh and they're doing buy 1 get 20% off another, so if you're doing this, you can get another game for 20% off.
