I think Chianti is a kind of wine or something…I'm told it was a Muskatell (sp?) in the book.

I was referencing a line in “Silence of the Lambs” where Lector talks about one of the victims he cannibalized, saying he “ate his liver with fava beans and a nice Chianti”

1991–Non-Timeline Continuity
A look at what might have been…things go much better for Egon and Janine in 1991, after “Invasion of the Danish Snatchers”…

I first wrote this little piece about two years ago, when I was contemplating doing some modification to the official continuity. Basically, the issue was “JMS or EGB?” Do I follow the natural flow of events from “Janine You've Changed” and have the Spenglers get married in 1992 and the Twins born in 1993, or do I stick with the Official Version, namely EGB, which had Egon and Janine not married yet.

After some soul-searching, obviously I stuck with the Official Version (and had the nuptuals take place after EGB) After the release of the Timeline I realized it'd be unseemly to start contradicting the very continuity I helped solidify, and I'd released Clinically Insane which was both well-recieved, fit the Official Continuity better, and would've obviously been invalidated by the “Spengler 1992” idea.

(Just as a side note, I originally wrote the first part of Return of the Jersey Turnpike Terror with this idea in mind also, and actually set it in 1997. It was changed before release to take place in 2003)

Sweetness! I'll get to readin that asap. As far as likes/dislikes; well I pretty much like them overall. One thing I do like is how you put the spotlight on everyone- equal distribution and all. It's nice for authors to do that, even when a fic is geared for certain people.

As for art, I will set some up real soon. I have 1 piece done; I'll add the link to it in a bit.

But here it is anyway, something I've had lying in my hard drive for two years now: A Ghostbusters/Digimon crossover.

A strange computer problem sends the guys and Janine into a bizzare alternate dimension that Ray recognizes as the “Digital World” straight out of the Digimon anime…

Part two is done and will be posted next week. Whether I finish the story depends mostly on whether anyone thinks I should.

I hope you'll at least give it a try.
