Maybe. I mean I'm running windows ME and it doesn't seem like anything that I've been told to do works. And if a patch would let me run it I'd go for the idea.

I'm also running ME.

You know the file that you are told to EDIT??!?!?!?!?

Double-Click that, after it's edited, and the game will start.

I've tried the edit thing.. and it's edited right.. but it still doesn't play.

Now, double click the edited file to play the game. NOT the Doom 2 executable.

I've done that, and I keep getting an error message.
