that was sooo cool. I love the likeness of the Ghostbusters to the Ghostbusters in the movies.

Haha. WTF, is Venkman on the Enterprise or something??? The artwork looks very 1960s. Ernie Hudson looks very good, though why they forgot to color his flightsuit is a mystery…..

That's from “Ghostbusters Meet the Laser Ghosts” I believe was the title. It was a kids book that came w/ a record of a reading of the book.

There was another one put out by Peter Pan Books done in the same artistic style, except it was all black and white with a cassatte tape: Ghostbusters Meet the Ghost Riders (something like that - don't quote me) The cover of that book was green, if that helps anyone.

Those just stick out in my mind b/c the characters are drawn after the movie instead of the cartoon - those being the only 2 I recall that weren't specifically “The REAL Ghostbusters”

You are correct sir. The audio files for “Ghostbusters Meet The Ghost Riders” are here: http://brandonbird.com/gb_philosopher.html, which I'll be putting up the book format as soon as I get all the pages to “…Laser Ghost” up.

Aren't I just a peach?

asked Winston Zeddmore from behind the wheel of the Ectomobile, the van that carried all the Ghostbusters' equipment

And this is before RGB, right? But it has Winston's name misspelled and him driving the ECTO-1…fascinating…

“Van”?

Despite the coloring mistakes (the grey fins), that's actually a pretty awesome picture of the “van”. Very similar, in fact, to the ECTO-1 drawing in the first edition of West End Games' GB RPG (a colored and retouched version of the scan can be see here)

haha awesome to see these again. I remember there was something odd about the way the proton packs were drawn. I can't recall offhand what exactly it was, but they looked goofy.

I suppose nobody's been able to work out where that Ecto-1 illustratrion first originated? I've seen it used everwhere from stickers released for the original film, that book, the RPG… I think it even appeared in one long-lost GBII activity book I used to own an eon ago.
