Decided to part w/ yet another piece from my GB collection…
This is an original, production-used faux manhole cover from the filming of Ghostbusters. I aquired this piece directly from a production worker on the film.
The manhole cover is constructed from plastic, and filled with foam….it was lightweight, as these manhole covers were blasted into the air off of the street when the firehouse is destroyed by the EPA. The “manhole cover scene” was filmed, but not included in the final cut of the movie.
The piece is painted to look weathered/used, and makes a fantastic display. Will also come w/ a signed UMCG COA outlining provenance.
Would like around $200 shipped for this piece….it's fairly large, so shipping/insurance will be pricey, but included in the above price.
PM if interested….
