Future Removal of Mods...

I say if a situation comes up, temporarily de-mod the allegedly troublesome moderator. Then, put it to an open community vote. But keep outright bashing and whatnot out of it.

Exactly how I felt the banning of normal members should be handled.

And WeaveR is right, but this is hopefully only a temporary condition.

Chad is installing mod logging now so hopefully this will no longer be an issue.

Myself, I have only had limited experience with the Investigation and Elimination of mods. So If you are asking for my opinion, I say voting is too much of a popularity contest, cause If you dont like said person, but said person has done nothing wrong, and you still vote person out, it's a little unfair, but hey, jmo.

when someone is banned is there a chance that the person could be given a second chance if that person has changed their behavior or is the person banned forever and never allowed back to gbc?

yeah we have tryed that, and sometimes it works sometiems it doesnt case and point, Ash was banned, alowed back and hes all good! but sam jack was banned aloud back and hes a dick so I dont know.

The way I've done it on other boards is that when it is decided that a person needs to be removed, then they get suspended for two weeks, aka “Time Out” (heh). After that two weeks is up, they are allowed back onto the board…under the proviso that if they cause trouble again, they're out for good. I'm all for second chances, but people shouldn't have to up with crap either.

There are extreme cases (like where the person registered JUST to give one of the board members crap), where the poster in question was just unceremoniously dumped. End of story.

Well who locked the “impeach M Bison” thread? Was it M Bison? Funny how during the election I kept saying this guy has been here for a week and he shouldn't be elected and it would be the dumbest thing to elect him and well… he was elected… And Jesusfreak, I seem to remember Bison being like “oh well JesusFreak nominated me blah blah blah…”

I also told people not to vote for M. Bison stayin puft. But I don't still don't understand how people elected him :@ I do think though that after the poll Vego held we should seriously consider a new one and it not be locked. Since the adminadstration says were a Demrocracy it's up to us the community and not the mods. The mods are just here to keep make shure we don't get duplicate posts or anyone using foul language not to make the rules for us. Well to me it seams like they're doing both!
